Academic Center

North Shore Christian School maintains an intentional commitment to the academic growth and progress for all of our students. The Academic Center service is an affordable, fee-for-service made available through mutual school and home agreement.  These services enhance or support student learning as they continue to engage in our robust curriculum and program. Utilizing evidenced-based best teaching practices the Academic Center is designed to provide academic interventions to support learners as they progress toward academic benchmarks.  The Academic Center is equally equipped to provide individualized learning plans to challenge and extend learning for gifted learners. Outcome-driven interventions provide students with the greatest opportunity to achieve academic success. The Academic Dean partners with faculty and oversees students’ individual education plans, standardized testing, and student academic learning plans.   Additionally, specialized reading tutoring is available using the Orton Gillingham method and trained specialists.  Fees can be conveniently added to FACTS Tuition.
