North Shore Christian School’s “Home to School Connection” program is for students in Kindergarten through Grade 8.

North Shore Christian School has been partnering with homeschool families on the North Shore for over a decade, providing academic and co-curricular opportunities! Families who would like to enroll their child into our Home to School Connection (HTSC) program are required to enter our admissions process, which entails a student application, academic screening, and visit day.

HTSC runs on an approximate 12-week trimester.  Families have the option to participate in all three trimesters, or as few as one trimester/year.  Tuition is based on per content area and/or special per trimester.

All content area classes and specials are taught in a classroom setting alongside our full-time students. 

A special note to our Home-to-School Connection families: NSCS requires our HTSC students be dressed in a similar fashion each day to that of our full-time students, with the only exception being that clothing items do not need to bear the logo. Clothing items should resemble that of our full-time students.  Jeans and t-shirts are not permissible.   Please click here to view our Grade K-8 Uniform Policy.

HTSC Tracks

Certificate of Completion

This Track allows Homeschool students to select up to 3 Content Areas and up to 3 Specials (Co-curricular) per week per Trimester. Students participating in this track will be required to meet all full-time student prescribed learning expectations in way of homework, classwork, class participation, and grading. Students enrolled in this track will receive a traditional Report Card at the close of each trimester, for Content Areas and Specials received.

Certificate of Participation

This Track allows Homeschool students to attend up to 3 Content Areas and up to 3 Specials per week per Trimester. Students participating in this track are not required to participate in homework, or classroom assignments, however class participation is expected. Students in this track will not receive grading, but will receive a Participation Narrative, provided by the classroom/homeroom teacher, at the close of each Trimester.

NSCS reserves the right to recommend a track option, which is believed to best meet the needs of the student.

Tuition Rates and Fees

2023-24 HTSC Kindergarten—Grade 4

Annual Student Fee: $85.00


Academic Content: Bible, Math/Math Application (Kindergarten ONLY), Math (Grades 1-4), Phonics & Literacy Centers (Kindergarten ONLY), Phonics (Grades 1-3), Reading/Literacy Centers (Grades 1 & 2 ONLY) ELA (Grade 4 ONLY), Science, Social Studies (Grades 1-4, *depending on schedule, Science and Social Studies may be offered on a waterfall schedule and would be considered a double content area).
$420 per academic content area per trimester. Tuition includes all Standardized & Acadience Testing.
 

Specials: Art, PE, Music, Chorus, Spanish
$165 per special per trimester that meets once per week or $265/two specials.
 

Lunch and Recess Participation: $255 per trimester OR this can be waived if a parent/guardian is willing and able to help out with coverage for a lunch or recess period at least 1X/week.
 

 

2023-24 HTSC Grades 5—8

Annual Student Fee: $85.00
 

Academic Content: Christian Formation (This content includes both Bible Class and SAFE Group.  *Please note that SAFE Groups meet twice per week in the afternoons), Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies (*Please note that depending on schedule, Science and Social Studies may be offered on a waterfall schedule and would be considered a double content area).
$490 per academic content area per trimester
$620 for double content area per trimester
Tuition includes all Standardized & Acadience Testing.
 

Specials: Art, PE, Wellness, Music, Chorus, Band, Spanish
$165 per special per trimester that meets once per week or $265/two specials.
 

Lunch and Recess Participation: $255 per trimester OR this can be waived if a parent/guardian is willing and able to help out with coverage for a lunch or recess period at least 1X/week.
